Media outlets revealed on Thursday, December 9, that actors Ji Sung, Lee Soo Kyung, and Seo Ji Hye are offered to star in tvN’s upcoming drama “Adamas.”
The series is a joint project between “Kairos” director Park Seung Woo and scriptwriter Lee Moon. It will feature the story of twin brothers who will try to solve the mystery of their father’s murder two decades ago. The brothers will discover the “Adamas,” the missing murder weapon, and capture the real killer.
Ji Sung is offered to portray the dual role of twin brothers Su Hyun and Wooshin. They will deal with all the struggles of looking for the person who killed their father.
It will not be the first time for the actor to portray multiple characters. His 2015 portrayal of a character with multiple personality disorder in the drama “Kill Me, Heal Me” gave him the Grand Prize at the 2015 MBC Drama Awards.
Seo Ji Hye is offered to portray the role of Eun Hye Soo, the wife of the eldest heir of a conglomerate family. Meanwhile, Lee Soo Kyung is in talks to portray a social affairs reporter named Kim Seo Hee.
tvN’s “Adamas” is scheduled to air in 2022.
