After working twice in two different dramas, the actors found themselves together in another drama with director Byun Sung Hyun.
It will be the third time Jeon Do-yeon and Seol Kyung-gu pair up to work on a project with the working title “Kill Bok-soon.” They previously appeared as romantic partners in the 2001 drama “I Wish I Had a Wife,” then worked as a married couple in 2019’s “Birthday.”
In the upcoming thriller, Jeon Do-yeon will portray the titular role Kill Bok-soon. She lives a double life as a financially struggling single mom who is taking care of her 15-year-old daughter, and a merciless hired assassin.
Meanwhile, Seol Kyung-gu will give life to the character named Cha Min-ku, the leader of the assassins’ organization called M.K. Ent. He was also the one who trained Kill Bok-soon to become a master assassin. The actor is currently working with director Byun Sung Hyun in another upcoming political movie “Kingmaker,” which is set to premiere on January 26.
Other cast members include Esom as Cha Min-Hee, Cha Min-Kyu’s younger sister and director of M.K. Ent. They will be joined by Koo Gyo-Hwan as Han Hee Sung, a skilled but underappreciated assassin for the M.K. Ent.
Details about “Kill Bok-soon” release date are still under wraps.
