Due to the suspicions about a possible COVID-19 transmission among one of the crew members, the producers of JTBC’s new drama “The One and Only” announced Tuesday, January 11, that they decided to stop filming temporarily.
In a statement, the production team explained their immediate decision. “A member of the filming crew was suspected of having COVID-19, so until their test results come back, we have currently halted filming as a precautionary measure,” the announcement stated.
“The One and Only” is an ongoing romance drama featuring Ahn Eun Jin, Kang Ye Won, and Red Velvet member Joy. It is a story about three women who were dealing with terminal illnesses and met at a hospice. The three women made a pact that they will take down one bad guy before they pass away. But in their attempt to complete their mission, Ahn Eun Jin’s character met “the one and only” special person in her life, who happens to be the character played by Kim Kyung Nam.
JTBC airs the episodes of “The One and Only” every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. starting December 20, 2021, until February 8, 2022.
