SM Entertainment continues to expand with its latest launch of global idol auditions. Set in the mythical world of KWANGYA, one of the big four agencies plan to create some of the next generation’s potential superstars.
On their website, SM Entertainment specified the eligibility and talents sought. For eligibility, people born between 2003 and 2011 may apply for the global auditions regardless of nationality. Interested applicants are required to send their applications and video clips of them either singing, dancing, rapping, or acting. The application videos are restricted to a max of 100MB.
The application period started on January 31, 2022, and will end on February 20. Applicants under the age of fourteen need to have parental consent.
After the registration, two qualifiers will take place on-site, offline at each SM Branch and, if not possible, through Zoom. Then the final pass will take place wherein the announcement for the second preliminaries will be found at sm-global.site homepage.
