tvN finally release the first look for the new drama “The Ghost Doctor” in early December. The network also revealed that it will premiere on January 3, 2022.
The upcoming series, starring Rain and Kim Bum, is a medical fantasy drama that will center on the lives of two doctors with completely different personalities and skills but will find themselves sharing bodies and spirits.
Rain portrays the role of Cha Young Min, a genius thoracic surgeon who has the talent of saving lives. Kim Bum, on the other hand, will play the role of rich but careless resident doctor Ko Seung Tak.
It will serve as Rain’s comeback drama after MBC’s “Welcome 2 Life,” released in 2019. Meanwhile, Kim Bum’s fans last saw him in “Law School” released by jTBC in 2021.
The drama will also star APINK’s Son Na Eun, After School’s Uee, Sung Dong Il, Yoon, Da Kyung, Son Seung Taek, and Seo Ji Young.
“The Ghost Doctor” will be one of tvN’s first dramas lined up for 2022.
