Actress Park Bo Young may lead in a new drama helmed by “All of Us Are Dead” director Lee Jae Gyu.
On Friday, industry insiders revealed that the actress had been tapped to play the lead role in the upcoming drama version of the webtoon “Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too.”
The upcoming project is a medical drama focusing on a wide range of incidents that happened in a psychiatric ward. It is based on the real-life experiences of a psychiatric nurse.
Park Bo Young is expected to portray the role of psychiatric nurse Jung Shi Na, the lead character in the drama. If the reports are true, it will be her first project after her hit 2021 drama “Doom at Your Service.”
Meanwhile, director Lee Jae Gyu also worked on other dramas like “Damo,” “Beethoven Virus,” and “Intimate Strangers.”
