MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Tracer” finally has a release date.
According to the announcement from the broadcasting network, Tracer will premiere on Friday, January 7, 2022, following the broadcast of the romantic historical drama “The Red Sleeve.” The new drama will also have a simultaneous premiere won Wavve, an online streaming platform in Korea.
Tracer stars Im Si-Wan as Hwang Dong-Ju, the chief of taxation division 5 at the National Tax Service. He uses his skills to trace the money concealed from the tax service. He will be joined by Go Ah Sung as Seo Hye Young, a fearless team member of the 5th Tax Bureau, and Son Hyun-joo, who will portray the role of Central Regional Tax Service head In Tae-joon.
Other cast members include Park Young-woo as Oh Young, a former head of the tax bureau. Oh Young and Hwang Dong-ju will constantly collide because the former refuses to believe in doing any work.
