Fan-favorite JRock band SCANDAL announced their upcoming North American concert tour this summer.
The all-female band will begin their tour in Toronto on July 9, the same day as their 15th anniversary as well as the release of their much-awaited 10th studio album, “Mirror.”
In a statement, the band expressed their excitement to be on tour in that part of the world.
“Finally! We are coming to see our North American fans with our new album “MIRROR!” It was very sad and painful for us to postpone our US tour due to the pandemic,” the band stated. “However, even during this difficult time, we have received so many messages to our radio show and social media. We are very touched and saved by all your love. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! Now is our turn to share our love and support you through our music! We are looking forward to seeing everyone – Let’s have amazing time together!”
The group also mentioned that they recorded and produced “Mirror” in the middle of the pandemic. They also reminded their fans that they are celebrating their 15th year as a band.
According to the band, they also had a hard time being apart from each other during the pandemic surge. However, it allowed them to have a chance to discover who they really are collectively and individually.
They also mentioned that they chose the title “Mirror” since it reflects all their individual personalities and what the group has become over the years.
“Each of us wrote music, lyrics, and sung main vocals, so each song has a different personality to allow listeners to enjoy different genres through our music. Our lead track “AI Ni Narana Katta No Sa” (It Was Never Love for Me) is a sentimental love song and for the music video, we created a story based on lyrics so that you can feel just like you are living in the world of this song. Enjoy!” the band added.
SCANDAL also posted their North American tour schedule on their social media page.

The group also released the official music video for “AI Ni Narana Katta No Sa” (It Was Never Love for Me) on their music channel.
