On Wednesday, December 8, media outlets revealed that actor Lee Jin Wook was tapped to become the main lead for the upcoming romance drama “Marriage White Paper.”
According to the reports, Lee Jin Wook will portray the role of a character named Seo Joo Hyung.
BH Entertainment, the actor’s management agency, confirmed the reports that he was given the offer from streaming platform KakaoTV to star in their upcoming drama. They also revealed that Lee Jin Wook is still seriously considering the role.
“Marriage White Paper” will focus on the story of a couple in their 30s. They are preparing for their upcoming fairytale-themed wedding to serve as the perfect ending to all the hardships they experience in their relationship. The female lead and other members of the cast are still up in the air.
KakaoTV will add “Marriage White Paper” in their repertoire of original drama lineup. Some of the most popular ones include “Lovestruck in the City,” “The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim,” and “A Love So Beautiful.” The streaming platform is also scheduled to release a new drama called “Goosebumps” featuring “Stairway to Heaven” star Choi Ji Woo.
While Lee Jin Wook is still studying the casting offer, he will be seen in another upcoming drama called “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” with Kwon Na Ra and Lee Joon. He will also appear in the star-studded movie “A Year-End Medley” with Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, Won Jin Ah, Kim Young Kwang, Go Sung Hee, and Han Ji Min.
