The award-winning actresses will work together in a new drama.
Kim Ha-neul and Kim Sung-ryoung are confirmed to spearhead the cast of an upcoming drama series from tvN.
In separate announcements, Kim Ha-neul’s management agency, IOK Company and Kim Sung-ryoung’s management agency, Y1 Entertainment both revealed that they will portray the lead roles in a new drama with the tentative title “Kill Heel.” It is about home TV shopping hosts vying for power in a highly competitive workplace.
The story will revolve around three powerful and ambitious women who will do whatever it takes to beat their rivals. Kim Ha-neul will take the role of Woo-Hyun, a hard-working and devoted woman who feels trapped in a mid-career crisis. Meanwhile, Kim Sung-ryoung will play the role of Ok-seon, a top-rated celebrity TV show personality.
The other cast members of the show are still unannounced.
tvN will launch “Kill Heel” during the first half of 2022.
