Many South Korean dramas are being taken for a western adaptation, and the genre-bending drama Two Worlds is not an exception. Famous network CW will take the helms for this project. People know CW as the home of famous series like Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, and Supernatural, and their main demographic is young people.
Two Worlds is the story of Oh Yeon-Joo, a surgeon who gets sucked into her father’s graphic novel and develops a romantic relationship with the main character of the webtoon, Kang Chul. Deadline’s article reveals the plot of Angel City as the story of Jules, a young surgeon whose life changes when she gets sucked into her father’s graphic novel.
Writers Jen Braeden and Heather Thomason will work with Craig Plestis as executive producers for this show, along with The Masked Singer‘s Damon Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow.
Angel City is still in its early stages. While waiting for the drama, you can watch(binge-watch) Two Worlds on Netflix.
