Actress Jung Eun Chae is best remembered for her outstanding performance as Prime Minister Koo Seo Ryeong in Netflix’s The King: Eternal Monarch. Her elegance, sharp wit, and overall beauty. It’s no secret that, despite her role as an antagonist, she still stole the hearts of many viewers.
That is why it is no surprise that she’s asked to come back to the screen. This time, she will join KDrama goddess Bae Suzy in The Second Anna. According to DevDiscourse, “The Second Anna” was planned as a film. However, its makers changed it into a series that may reach eight episodes.
Bae Suzy takes the role of the woman who suffers from Ripley’s syndrome. Ripley’s syndrome is an antisocial personality disorder wherein the patient believes in a fictional world. In “The Second Anna,” she tries to steal the life of Anna, the role to be played by Jung Eun Chae, who lives in a somewhat perfect world.
Lee Joo Young heads the series. While the rest of the cast remains unconfirmed, the filming is set to commence in late 2021.
