BTS’s mission has always been to make great music. However, even before their debut, the band has made their name as a charitable group for their acts of contribution in making the world a better place. BTS’ J-Hope or Jung Hoseok is a famous member of the Green Noble Club. ChildFund Korea reports that since 2018, the rapper and dancer contributed nearly 800 million KRW through the charity.
This holiday season, he made a donation to help children in need affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. J-Hope donated an amount totaling 100 million KRW on Friday, December 31.
The rapper-dancer told Childfund Korea, “I was concerned for children who would be spending a cold and lonely holiday season due to economic hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic.” He hopes that his contribution will help the children to have a warm winter.
The organization stated that the donation would be used to pay the heating bills of several childcare facilities and low-income families. Also, the money will fund children with special needs and disabilities.
Truly, BTS’ Sunshine continues to share his warmth through acts of kindness.
