Music streaming platform NHN Bugs confirmed Monday, November 29, that actors Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik will star in a new romantic drama titled “Soundtrack #1.”
The upcoming drama is the first installment in the collaboration between the streaming platform and its partners, including the Red Nine Pictures, a video production company. The project aims to release several music dramas featuring various musical elements.
An NHN Bugs official explained the project, saying that it will involve a lot of important people in the entertainment industry. “Acclaimed director, actors and singers will join the Soundtrack #1 project and make it an unprecedented series,” the official stated. “Bugs will continue to team up with different partners and make invest in creating our original content.”
The four-episode series will focus on the story of two long-time friends who have to live in one house for two weeks. As they adjust to the life of living in one property, they gradually found themselves shifting from close friends to lovers.
Han So Hee’s character is named Lee Eun-soo, an outspoken and humorous lyricist. On the other hand, Park Hyung Sik will play the role of Han Sun-woo, an aloof yet warm-hearted photographer.
“Soundtrack #1,” will be directed by “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown” director Kim Hee Won. It is slated to come out in 2022.
