It marks the second time for V to sing in a drama OST.

Kim Tae-hyung, more popularly known as V from the highly popular boy group BTS, will sing the official soundtrack for SBS’s new drama. “Our Beloved Summer.” The series stars V’s close friend Choi Woo Shik and actress Kim Da Mi.
“Our Beloved Summer” features the story about high school sweethearts who had a bad breakup. But 10 years after parting ways, the couple suddenly crossed paths again when the documentary they filmed in the past started to become viral.
The soundtrack for the drama is produced by respected music director Nam Hye Seung. He was also responsible for the OST of other notable dramas like “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” “Goblin,” and “Crash Landing on You,” among others. Industry sources claimed that Nam Hye Seung created the song specifically for V. The musical piece reportedly emphasises the BTS member’s warm tone.
This is not the first time that V sang the OST for a close friend. In 2020, he sang the song “Sweet Night” for the drama “Itaewon Class,” starring another close friend Park Seo Joon.
“Our Beloved Summer” is scheduled to premiere on December 6, 2021, on SBS TV and Netflix.
