South Korean boyband or some fans are now calling “ManBand”, BTS, is currently on a break. After years of sharing one account on Instagram, the seven members created individual accounts. Their actions made HEADLINES, shadowing BigHit’s announcement that the band would rest and spend the holidays with their families.
V, whose real name is Kim Tae Hyung, broke two world records. The Guinness World Records announced his achievements on Twitter. First, he took the place of actress Angelina Jolie as the fastest user to reach 1 million followers. In 43 minutes, V amassed 1 million followers. Currently, all of the members have more than 20 million followers each.
He is also the first act to reach ten million followers. It only took four hours and 52 minutes for him to reach that goal. As of now, @thv has 26.1 million followers.
Even with BTS on their breaks, ARMYs will not rest. On V-Day, which is the member’s birthday, December 30, fans planned to stream his songs to celebrate this wonderful time of the year. ARMYs are definitely one of the most hardworking fandoms to ever walk on this planet. Some of their birthday plans haven’t been revealed, making it more suspenseful as the days come by.
