The Bangtan Boys continue to dominate the international music scene.
The Kpop idols are confirmed to perform their hit single “Butter” with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the stage of the 2021 American Music Awards.
The Korean superstars and the award-winning rapper belong to the list of artists confirmed to perform at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on November 21. Other performers include Olivia Rodrigo and Bad Bunny.
BTS will also vie to win in three categories, including the Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song for “Butter,” and the Artist of the Year awards.
This is their fourth consecutive year that they earned a nomination from the AMAs in 2018. During their first year, they received the Favorite Social Artist award. Then in 2019, the group bagged the Favorite Duo or Group in Pop/Rock, Tour of the Year, and their second Favorite Social Artist award. They also got the Favorite Social Artist in 2020 for the third time, as well as the Favorite Duo or Group in Pop/Rock for the second consecutive year.
However, this year marked the first time that the Kpop idols got nominated for the prestigious Artist of the Year category, one of the biggest recognitions given by the award-giving body.
