HYBE founder and current chairman Bang Si-Hyuk was once again acknowledged for his hard work and integrity.
He and his co-CEOs Scooter Braun and Lezo Yoon of HYBE America were ranked 18th at the 2022 Billboard Power List. This is the chairman’s second time being included. He was first recognized in 2020, when he was still the CEO of the then Big Hit Entertainment before it became HYBE Corporation on March 31, 2021.
Billboard’s Power List is an annual list wherein they select a number of influential people in the music industry worldwide.
In a report by Korea JoongAng Daily, HYBE remarked “To have [our CEOs from HYBE America and Bang] to be included on the list simultaneously in merely half a year since we actively began to pursue global management shows that the borderline of the music industry is shifting and HYBE’s activities are being spotlighted globally.”
