On Wednesday, November 24, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed that member and “Money” singer Lisa was diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the statement released by the agency, Lisa’s test was released on Wednesday afternoon. The statement also revealed that Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé, the three other members of the internationally-acclaimed group, are not yet classified as Lisa’s close contacts. Bt they all took the PCR test and wait for the results.
The agency also mentioned that they are doing everything to ensure that everything is in order. The girls are given strong preemptive measures that go beyond the standards set by the health authorities. “We will continue to not hold back on providing full support with the health of our artists and related staff members as the top priority. If there are any changes in the future, we will once again notify you quickly,” the agency’s statement also reads.
Lisa just returned to South Korea after several engagements outside the country. She recently went to Paris to attend the Fashion Week. The other girls also came home after spending some time abroad. Jennie was spotted in Los Angeles with her best friend and “Squid Game” star Jung Ho Yeon at the 10th Annual LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles, while Rosé was seen enjoying the sights of New York. On the other hand, Jisoo is busy working on her upcoming drama “Snowdrop,” which will come out on December 18.
