Award-winning Parasite screenwriter and director Bong Joon-ho will be working on a sci-fi film.
According to Variety, the brilliant director will join forces with Warner Bros to bring an upcoming novel by Edward Ashton to life. The novel’s premise is about a clone sent to colonize the ice world, Nifheim. That clone is Mickey 7. During his mission, he learns about a clone set to be his replacement, Mickey 8.
Variety stated that when writer Ashton sent the manuscript to Bong, the director showed interest. To make this more interesting, English actor Robert Pattinson is set to star in this film. Pattinson’s DC Comics superhero movie “The Batman,” is highly awaited for its premiere.
The film’s title and the plot’s details haven’t been confirmed. Hence, it is unknown if the director will stick to the book or put a twist.
