Netflix has more to prove following Squid Game’s success when it comes to KDramas. My Name was critically acclaimed, and now, the entertainment platform debuted another original series; Inspector Koo. The Korean comedy-thriller stars Lee Young Ae, who plays the part of Koo Kyung-Yi. Inspector Koo is a misanthropic ex-cop who becomes a private detective and insurance investigator. She is quite strange, as she focuses on the thrill of solving cases rather than bringing justice. An incident changes her life.
Now, there is a case that requires a different time of skillset and higher intuition as a female university student stages murders as accidents. Will she be able to solve it?
Inspector Koo will have twelve episodes. The first episode premiered on Saturday, October 30th, and the second episode will be available today, October 31st. The series will be broadcast on JTBC at 10:30 KST before it launches on Netflix.
