BTS’ Worldwide handsome’s silver vocals dominated the charts with the official debut of Jirisan’s OST “Yours.”
Yours was released on November 7 at 6 pm, KST. Dispatch reports that by 7:30, it charted on iTunes in 82 countries. It is the first solo song in iTunes history to reach that mark in a short time.
Yours grabbed the first spot on the US iTunes Top Songs chart not less than a day after its release.
The producer of the drama Jirisan, AStory, released the official music video. They released three videos, including a lyric video. AStory stated that the song would be used in the main title of the drama to “maximize immersion” and encourage fans to watch the drama.
The hashtags #YoutsOutNow and #YoursByJin started to trend on Twitter at the song’s release on every music platform.
Though the drama is under fire for several reasons, there’s no doubt that the song Yours grabs people’s attention and fully takes them to Jirisan and experience the turbulent emotions present in the storyline.
Jirisan is streamed on the iQiyi International app.
